Job Description
SUMMARY Fleet Coordinator PACE Manager of Transportation Services Exempt July 2018 Supervises the daily activities of transport drivers, ensures DOT compliance and the efficiency of the department by actively engaging in the routing, standardization, and training of the drivers to aid in the transportation of all PACE participants and medication deliveries in a safe manner.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
? Supervise, lead, and mentor all members of the PACE transportation team for assigned center(s). ? Provide assistance to Regional Manager of Transportation as it relates to training, improving efficiency of transport operations, data evaluation, effective and efficient utilization of equipment, and intercompany freight. ? Prioritize PACE Driver's workload, assisting Regional Manager of Transportation in scheduling and assessing performance. ? Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, identify and implement opportunities to improve processes. ? Comply with and enforce all company work and safety rules and regulatory compliance rules and regulations. ? Use and enforce use of all personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations. ? Develop and maintain a positive, productive relationship with PACE transportation team. ? Partner with all functional departments to ensure meeting business unit and company safety, service, cost, and people goals. ? Performs other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises all center specific transportation staff members.QUALIFICATIONS
(EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
) ? Associate's degree in related field highly preferred; high school diploma or general education degree (GED), required. ? 1 year related field experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. ? 1 year experience with the frail and elderly ? 2 years prior supervisory experience, preferred ? Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology, highly preferred.CERTIFICANTS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
