What's a typical day as Logistics Specialist? You'll be: Analyzing transportation and distribution systems to ensure efficient and cost-effective product delivery. Reviewing proposals and making recommendations for modifications in rates and transportation regulations. Evaluating freight classifications, tariff rates, and operational efficiency to guarantee proper product delivery. Planning and coordinating fleet operations, including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance, repair, and disposal of trucks. Managing relationships with common carriers and third-party transportation companies as needed. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a logistics or coordinator role (must have). Hold a High School diploma or equivalent (must have). Possess experience with compliance and certification management, background checks, and drug screens (must have). Demonstrate a strong understanding of transportation regulations and fleet coordination (must have).
