We are looking for a sharp, proactive Logistics Coordinator to become the operational backbone of our client's global supply chain. In this role, you won't just watch the freight move—you'll control the board. From booking carriers and optimizing routes to tackling shipping bottlenecks in real-time, you will be the primary liaison ensuring our goods get from point A to point B without a hitch.
What You'll Do Daily:
Coordinate the
Freight:
Schedule and dispatch LTL, FTL, and small parcel shipments, securing the best daily carrier capacity. Master the
Paperwork:
Generate and audit critical logistics documents (BOLs, packing slips, customs invoices).
Track & Troubleshoot:
Proactively monitor shipment ETAs and act as the first line of defense to resolve transit delays and OS&D exceptions. Sync the
Systems:
Keep our digital inventory flawlessly reconciled with the warehouse floor using our ERP/WMS platforms. What You Bring to the

Experience:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in a warehouse office, traffic department, or freight forwarding environment.
Tech Savvy:
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Odoo) and strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).

$60,000•$65,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM•4 PM education:
Associate Responsibilities Shipment Coordination & Dispatch Carrier Scheduling:
Secure freight capacity by booking carriers for LTL, FTL, or parcel shipments
Documentation Management:
Generate, audit, and verify vital shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, and international customs documentation
Routing Optimization:
Analyze cargo characteristics, deadlines, and carrier rates to select the most cost-effective and time-efficient transport modes and routes
Track, Trace & Troubleshooting Active Monitoring:
Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and carrier portals to track the status of inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
Exception Handling:
Act as the first line of defense when shipments are delayed, rerouted, or held at ports, providing rapid problem resolution
OS&D Management:
Document and resolve Overages, Shortages, and Damages (OS&D), including filing cargo insurance claims with carriers and coordinating replacement orders
Inventory & Warehouse Support System Reconciliation:
Regularly audit and ensure digital inventory counts in the ERP system perfectly mirror physical reality on the warehouse floor.
Reordering Triggers:
Monitor stock levels against minimum/maximum thresholds and alert procurement teams when raw materials or parts run low.
Inbound Receiving Logs:
Coordinate and schedule dock appointments for incoming delivery trucks to optimize workflow and prevent warehouse floor congestion.
