$26 - $30 per hour (depending on experience and skills)

Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30

Position Overview:
The Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician Specialist performs advanced maintenance and troubleshooting across facility systems and equipment within a logistics environment. This role focuses on diagnosing complex electrical, mechanical, and automated system issues while ensuring reliable facility operations. As a subject matter expert, the Specialist supports the maintenance team through technical guidance, project coordination, and preventive maintenance leadership. You will work with systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, automated conveyor systems, plumbing infrastructure, and building automation controls to maintain safe and efficient operations.
What You'll Do:
Perform specialized diagnostics, repairs, and installations on facility systems including electrical, HVAC, automated conveyors, and mechanical equipment Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex or high-priority maintenance issues Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment Monitor system performance and identify inefficiencies or potential failures Mentor and support junior maintenance technicians through training and technical guidance Coordinate with facility management and contractors on system upgrades, installations, and repairs Manage specialized maintenance projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget Maintain accurate maintenance records including work orders, labor hours, and parts usage Support procurement and inventory management of maintenance materials and components Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and facility safety procedures Perform emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime Recommend system improvements and process optimizations to enhance facility performance
Requirements Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in facilities management, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field preferred) 3+ years of facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experience Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills Experience repairing and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, or automated systems Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for critical facility equipment Proficiency using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS) Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industrial safety practices Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills for working with teams, supervisors, and contractors
Desired Qualifications:
Technical certifications in some HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems Experience with building automation systems (BAS) or industrial control systems Knowledge of energy management systems or sustainability initiatives Project management experience, including scheduling and coordination Leadership or mentoring experience with maintenance technicians Experience working in warehouse or logistics facility environments Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions
Technology & Tools:
CMMS systems for work order tracking and preventive maintenance scheduling Building Automation Systems (BAS) and industrial control systems Diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized testing tools
Additional Requirements:
