Job Summary:
Functions under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manager of Distribution and the Warehouse Leadership team. Responsible for the functions associated with the supply chain cycle of facilities within the WellStar System. Inclusive, but not limited to responsibilities with receiving, warehousing, distribution, and supply replenishment process and delivery. Resolves and expedites receipt discrepancies and unacceptable commodities. Keys disbursement provides customer service and proofs and tracks daily inventory discrepancies.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Fill orders Productivity requirements of 40 orders equal to 400 lines per day Assures quality control by checking the catalog number as well as the item number and location to eliminate mis-picked products Demonstrates a strong knowledge of stock item names numbers and locations Staging orders Hospital orders are staged in correct areas with product stacked neatly with deliver to locations written neatly. Pallets are wrapped for delivery and with a marker sign off on who wrapped the pallet and the facility it will be delivered to. Housekeeping Cleans workplace at the end of shift Stages pallets, totes and pickers for the next day. Leaves Warehouse in good working order for the next shift. Customer Service Promptly responds to all requests in a timely, courteous and friendly manner Verifies all orders that seem out of range with the customer to eliminate shipment problems Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma General or GED General Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Additional License(s) and Certification(s):
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred in warehousing/distribution environment. Have basic personal computer skills. Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language for effective understanding of supply/distribution orders and directional and safety signs Must be able to operate equipment, count and understand instructions given by supervisory staff.
