Job Description

Transportation Specialist (NEMT Driver) - Columbus, GA We are a growing non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate service. Our team helps individuals with mobility challenges get to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and care facilities comfortably and on time. We're expanding and looking for dependable, motivated, and people-first drivers who want to grow with a company that values culture, respect, and leadership. What We Offer Weekly pay Opportunities for growth Paid, on-the-job training Supportive management & team environment Meaningful, mission-driven work —you help people every day Well-maintained vehicles & equipment Schedule Full-time (flexibility required) Monday-Friday shifts: 6am-2:30pm or 730am-4pm Initial interviews held via Zoom (1-2 days after applying) Role Overview As a Certified Transportation Specialist , you'll safely transport patients using company minivans or passenger vans. Most passengers travel by wheelchair or stretcher , so professionalism, patience, and compassion are essential. You'll work closely with passengers, caregivers, and facility staff while ensuring safety, comfort, and punctuality on every trip. Key Responsibilities Safely transport passengers to and from appointments Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles Maintain clean, fueled, and properly equipped vehicles Communicate trip updates with dispatch Complete trip logs, inspections, and daily reports Deliver a courteous, professional experience every ride Requirements Reliable transportation to and from work Valid driver's license (minimum age 25) Clean MVR No moving violations in the last 3 years No more than 1 at-fault accident or 2 violations in the past 7 years Pass background check and 10-panel drug screen Must be able to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 75 lbs Familiar with Muscogee County roads, hospitals, and landmarks Strong customer service mindset Join Our Team If you're a safe, compassionate, and dependable person looking for stability, support, and work that matters—we want to hear from you!
