Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team during the night shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, efficient warehouse distribution, and timely transportation management. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS), and a passion for process improvement. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will coordinate inventory control, procurement, and freight activities to optimize costs and service levels. Responsibilities Oversee night shift warehouse activities including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and stock replenishment using SAP WMS and TMS platforms. Coordinate transportation planning and dispatching for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery while managing freight costs and vendor relationships. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies, implementing process improvements to enhance overall logistics performance. Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers and 3PL providers, and overseeing purchasing activities to meet demand planning requirements. Utilize data collection tools such as SQL and Tableau for supply chain analytics, providing insights to support decision-making and demand forecasting. Collaborate with warehouse teams on materials handling, inventory control, and category management to optimize warehouse distribution strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to forklift operation, mechanical equipment use, and warehouse procedures while maintaining accurate documentation for shipping & receiving activities. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations with a focus on warehouse distribution and transportation management systems. Hands-on experience with SAP WMS/TMS or similar ERP systems like AS400 or other supply chain software. Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, contracts, pricing strategies, and freight negotiations. Familiarity with demand planning, inventory management techniques (MRP), production planning, and supply chain analytics. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities during night shifts efficiently.
