Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistic Supplier to join our supply chain team. In this vital role, you will oversee the procurement, transportation, and distribution processes to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Your expertise will drive efficiency, optimize inventory management, and foster strong vendor relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where proactive problem-solving and strategic planning are essential for success. Duties Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement activities to secure optimal pricing and terms. Coordinate transportation planning and logistics, including freight forwarding, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery. Oversee warehouse distribution, inventory control, and materials handling to maintain accurate stock levels and streamline order fulfillment. Utilize supply chain management systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), SAP, AS400, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor data collection, analyze logistics performance, and identify process improvements. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions for continuous process improvement. Collaborate with sourcing teams on category management, procurement strategies, and demand planning to optimize inventory turnover. Monitor shipping & receiving activities, including freight costs, pricing strategies, and compliance with contracts and vendor agreements. Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics operations, and warehouse distribution processes. Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Tableau, SQL, and supply chain analytics platforms to interpret complex datasets. Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems (like SAP or AS400), and warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent negotiation skills for vendor management and contract negotiations. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Ability to perform analysis skills including root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with e-commerce logistics, 3PL providers, freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management techniques. Strong organizational skills in procurement, sourcing, demand planning, production planning, and inventory control. Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments including purchasing, transportation planning, and supply chain analytics teams. $29.06 - $35.00 per hour
