Position Overview This is a cross-functional operations role supporting Customer Service, Dispatch, and Warehouse Operations. Every day presents new challenges requiring employees to think critically, communicate effectively, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, self-motivated, and willing to assist wherever business needs require. Scheduling ATL Courier operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week , and our staffing needs evolve with customer demand. There is no permanent or guaranteed schedule for this position. While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate employee scheduling preferences, operational requirements will always take priority. Successful candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours when business needs require. Flexibility, reliability, and dependability are essential qualifications for this role. What You'll Do Customer Service Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by phone and email. Provide accurate, timely updates while delivering exceptional customer service. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Dispatch & Operations Dispatch and coordinate drivers for scheduled and on-demand deliveries. Monitor active shipments and respond quickly to changing operational conditions. Analyze situations, anticipate problems, and make sound operational decisions. Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, vendors, and leadership. Maintain accurate records within transportation management systems. Warehouse Operations Verify, stage, and prepare freight for transportation. Assist with loading, unloading, inventory verification, and freight accountability. Maintain organization, accuracy, cleanliness, and security within the warehouse. Support warehouse operations wherever needed to ensure customer commitments are met. Training Initial training is conducted primarily during our core business hours of 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM , Monday through Friday. The training program typically lasts 4-6 weeks , although the schedule and pace may be adjusted based on business needs, operational requirements, and each employee's demonstrated learning ability and overall progress. During this period, employees will receive cross-functional training in customer service, dispatch, warehouse operations, company systems, and standard operating procedures to prepare them for success in a dynamic logistics environment. Candidates should be prepared to train during daytime business hours before transitioning into operational scheduling. Employees who demonstrate initiative, strong critical thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to learning may progress more quickly, while additional coaching and development will be provided as needed to ensure long-term success. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license. Ability to pass a federal background check. Ability to pass a drug screening. Reliable transportation to our Norcross facility.
