Job Description Supply Planner (Hybrid | Norcross, GA) Contract (potential hire) Opportunity | Veritiv We're hiring a Supply Planner to join a leading packaging, print, and facility solutions provider (Veritiv). This is a great opportunity to step into a true planning role, own supplier relationships, and directly influence inventory strategy. Location & Schedule
    Hybrid:
    3 days onsite (Mon-Wed), 2 days remote (Th-F)
      Location:
      Norcross, GA
        Hours:
        8-5 (flexible start times available) What You'll Be Doing
        • Manage inventory planning and replenishment strategies for assigned items and suppliers
        • Review daily replenishment recommendations and purchase requisitions
        • Set and adjust key planning parameters (lead time, MOQ, segmentation, etc.)
        • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock
        • Partner with demand planning, sourcing, and suppliers to improve performance
        • Resolve inventory and order issues (expediting POs, troubleshooting discrepancies)
        • Use reporting and analytics to drive proactive inventory decisions What You'll Own
        • Fill Rate (product availability)
        • Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH) - optimizing inventory levels across your portfolio You'll have direct ownership over inventory decisions — how much to order, when to order, and how to balance supply vs demand.

        • 1-3 years of experience in: o Supply Planning o Demand Planning o Inventory Planning
        • Experience owning a product group, suppliers, or inventory decisions
        • Understanding of key supply chain concepts: o Lead times o Forecasting o Replenishment strategies
        • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to
        Have:
        • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
        • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning
        • Experience working through a system or ERP transition
