Job Description

Randstad is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the supply chain, ensuring that orders are processed accurately, shipments are tracked flawlessly, and customers are kept informed every step of the way. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and can seamlessly balance administrative precision with top-tier customer service.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a fast-paced administrative customer service role.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with CRM systems with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Communication:

Efficiently execute precise order entry into the CRM system, ensuring all shipment details, customer specifications, and special instructions are accurately captured.
Financial Tracking:
Calculate, verify, and enter all applicable shipping charges, accessorial fees, and freight costs into the billing system to ensure accurate invoicing.
Shipment Tracking & Operations End-to-End Tracking:
Actively monitor and track the delivery progress of en-route shipments, identifying potential transit delays or routing issues before they impact the client.
Documentation & Compliance:
Manage, organize, and file daily shipment documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, packing lists, customs paperwork) to maintain compliance and a rigorous audit trail.
Customer Service & Communication Proactive Notifications:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and proactive updates regarding freight status, estimated delivery times, and any unexpected transit deviations.
High-Volume Communication:
Effectively manage a high volume of inbound and outbound emails and phone calls, resolving inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
Cross-Functional Team Support Sales & Account Collaboration:
Provide seamless operational support to the sales and account management teams, supplying them with tracking updates, rate quotes, and logistical insights to help retain and grow client accounts.
