M-F 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM. (Voluntary overtime will be offered after completion of the training period).

We are currently seeking a dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious Shipping / Receiving / Utility Technician to support our warehouse operations. This versatile, dynamic role spans receiving raw materials, processing shipments, assisting with compounding/mixing operations, and helping maintain an organized, clean facility. Shipping & Receiving Receiving Operations:
Monitor incoming purchase orders (POs) for raw materials and packaging. Verify piece counts against POs, inspect shipments for damage, process receiving paperwork promptly, and safely relocate items to their designated storage locations.
Shipping Operations:
Verify outgoing products visually to ensure exact quantity and quality match Bills of Lading (BOL). Coordinate and communicate with freight carriers, optimize pallet configurations, wrap pallets securely, and safely load cargo onto outbound trucks. 2.
Utility & Chemical Production Support Batch Prep & Blending:
Assist raw material preparation for Batch Mixers. Blend custom, small-tote batches under supervision according to strict formulation guidelines.
Material Transfers:
Safely move and stage chemical raw materials throughout the facility to prevent line disruptions.
Cross-Training & Coverage:
Cross-train to fill in for peers during vacations or high-volume periods (specifically in shipping operations). 3.
Warehouse Logistics & Inventory Management Order Picking & Labeling:
Pick, package, and label customer orders accurately to ensure prompt and error-free shipments.
Forklift Operation:
Safely and proficiently operate a high-lift forklift to transport, organize, and stack raw materials and finished products.
Inventory Monitoring:
Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods against minimum/maximum thresholds; report low-stock situations to the Inventory Manager and assist with routine cycle counts. 5
S Initiatives:
Actively participate in and support facility-wide 5S organization and cleanliness standards. 4.
Leadership, Maintenance & Safety Team Leadership:
Provide light supervision and guidance to warehouse staff regarding safety protocols and day-to-day production expectations.
Facility Maintenance:
Help maintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment safely. Ensure warehouse floors, machinery, and tools are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Safety & Compliance:
Help facilitate customer pickup orders while strictly monitoring and enforcing safety regulations. Lead long-range improvements to warehouse organization in compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
Collaboration:
Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss operations, workflow improvements, and company growth.
Candidate Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (strong basic high-school math skills required for measurements and dilutions).
Personality & Communication:
Pleasant, patient, and highly cooperative attitude with excellent verbal communication skills.
Independence & Initiative:
Proven ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision, take instructions well, and proactively ask clarifying questions when needed.
Organization:
Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Forklift Experience:
Strong, safe forklift handling skills. Preferred Qualifications (Ideal Candidate): Direct experience in shipping/receiving, chemical warehousing, and industrial packaging procedures. Prior experience handling industrial chemicals or hazardous materials. Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and HazMat safety standards. Interest in chemistry, technical compounding, or chemical manufacturing processes.
