Distribution Associate - 2nd Shift Job Description This role supports a fast-growing distribution operation by accurately processing, packing, and shipping customer orders on the 2nd shift. You will work in a clean, fast-paced environment where attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork ensure that products meet customer specifications and ship on time. Responsibilities Process and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process and audit company products so they match specific customer requirements. Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment according to established standards. Ship completed orders to designated customer locations using established procedures. Inspect products to verify they meet customer specifications and quality standards. Sort and count parts to maintain accurate inventory and order fulfillment. Collect cardboard and other packaging materials and place them into the compactor. Perform order picking to gather items for customer orders in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with general warehouse tasks such as labeling, receiving, and organizing inventory as needed. Essential Skills Prior experience working in a warehouse environment. Experience with order picking for customer orders. Hands-on experience with packing products for shipment. Experience with shipping processes and procedures. Experience with receiving incoming goods and materials. Inventory experience, including tracking and maintaining stock levels. Ability to count parts and products accurately. Experience labeling products, packages, or inventory. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution or production setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfort working in a production-based environment with performance expectations. Strong attention to detail when processing and auditing orders. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Willingness to support various warehouse functions as business needs change. Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality.
