What We Need:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings - Operations team. Responsible for material/information flow management from supplier to final customer. Participate in continuous process improvement in existing operations to optimize the entire network including supply chain information flow from order to invoice and material flow from raw material to finished goods delivered to customers.
What You Will Do:
Conducts inventories where necessary, analyze against demand requirements to determine appropriate stock. Place order to replenish/maintain inventory. Work with supplier/customer groups to identify and resolve issues in terms of quality, quantity, timing and cost. Responds to and resolves most questions and issues, referring only the most complex to the next level. Maintains files, records and/or databases of materials, pricing, inventories, deliveries and/or supplier information. Solves routine problems to enable daily execution Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization
What You Have:
A High School Diploma is required. Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Transportation/Logistics preferred Previous problem solving/analytical experience preferred. Previous Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Operations experience preferred.
What You're Good At:
Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with changing priorities Effectively utilizing problem solving and analytical skills Demonstrated initiative Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills As skills and experience are gained, the complexity of the work evolves which warrants the higher-level projects and involvement. Great attention to detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and ERP systems (preferred)
