Medical (Wellmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield) Dental (Delta Dental) Vision (VSP) PTO (extra 24 hours at 60 days) Click here for more information Diamond Vogel is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to support our Supply Chain team and help drive efficient, reliable manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in developing and maintaining production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory levels, material availability, and capacity constraints. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced paint and coatings manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules within ERP/MRP systems Sequence production to optimize changeovers and improve line efficiency Adjust schedules based on demand changes, material availability, and operational constraints Partner with Procurement to ensure raw material availability Identify and escalate material shortages or capacity constraints Align production output with inventory targets and business needs Communicate schedules clearly to manufacturing teams Support daily production meetings and execution reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow Promote company values and support a culture of safety and compliance Perform other related duties as needed Qualifications Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn ERP/MRP systems Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field 2-5 years of production planning or scheduling experience Experience in paint, coatings, chemical, or batch manufacturing environments APICS, ISM, or similar certification (or willingness to pursue) To apply for this position, please complete and submit our online application near the top of this page.Similar jobs in Orange City, IA
