Job Description

Our client is looking for a strong Parts and logistics Associate. This position is full-time ad located on the NE side of Des Moines.
Starting pay:
$21.00 - $23.00
Hours:
6:00am- 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday, Friday during the busy season).
Duties:
Set up outgoing shipments.

Create packing lists, contact customers onsite to schedule shipments. Loading/unloading trucks and following up on shipment arrivals. Receive incoming shipments, insuring package qty. and integrity. Receipt all incoming parts into ERP system. Organize and maintain parts department inventory. Perform cycle counts, update bin locations, add remove parts from inventory as needed. Stage parts for upcoming jobs prior to assembly.

Other activities as needed to support departments on a day-to-day basis. Build pallets for outgoing inventory and shipments.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. Computer and Microsoft Office Skills. Basic understanding of retail inventory systems
IE:
FIFO/LIFO, Cycle Counts, Bin Locations, etc. Good PR skills and ability to deal with customers and vendors on a professional level daily. Prior Forklift experience. ECi M1 ERP Software use or other ERP software. Experience with logistics coordination. Manufacturing experience and ability to read BOM's and Shop drawings to be able to pull parts.
