This role combines local hauling of equipment with warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class A CDL and be comfortable working both on the road and in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Equipment Hauling Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport heavy equipment, materials, and machinery to and from job sites Safely load, secure, and unload equipment using proper procedures and tie-down methods Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations Shipping & Receiving Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and scheduling pickups Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material handling equipment General Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, and equipment Assist with inventory counts and tracking Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members Support additional operational tasks as needed Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required (clean driving record preferred) Previous experience hauling heavy equipment strongly preferred Experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics Ability to operate forklifts, boom lifts, and other similar equipment (or willingness to learn) Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement standards Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions Skills & Attributes Reliable and punctual Strong organizational and multitasking skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Problem-solving mindset and flexibility Work Environment Combination of hauling and warehouse setting Standard schedule, 7-5 Monday to Friday, with some overtime. Occasional weekend work.
Pay DOE Pay:
$25.00 - $31.00 per hour
