Warehouse Logistics and Shipping Coordinator Love keeping operations moving? Why this role matters You'll be the connective tissue between Purchasing and Production, ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time, with spotless documentation and safe, efficient handling. Ask yourself Do you excel at receiving and verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips? Can you keep inventory areas impeccably organized and conduct accurate cycle counts? Are you comfortable issuing materials to jobs in an ERP (Epicor) and supporting a vertical storage system? Do you enjoy prepping shipments—packing slips, BOLs, customs forms—and getting them labeled and staged? Will you collaborate with Purchasing on shortages/discrepancies and keep shipping supplies stocked? Can you safely operate forklifts and maintain a clean, compliant workspace? Core responsibilities Inbound & inventory: Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials; place items into assigned locations; perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories; manage customer-owned parts; restock shop hardware, tooling bins, and shop supplies; handle scrap metal disposition.
Production support:
Issue materials to jobs via Epicor; communicate issues to Purchasing; monitor and request reorders of shipping supplies. Outbound & documentation: Prepare all required shipping documents (packing slips, bills of lading, customs forms, etc.); pack, label, and stage outbound materials; process customer spare-part sales orders in Epicor and package for shipment. Safety & equipment: Operate forklifts/material handling gear safely and efficiently; maintain housekeeping and follow safety standards. Comfortable with basic computer tools, inventory software, and Microsoft Office. Knowledgeable in shipping/receiving procedures and paperwork. Understands warehouse/manufacturing safety expectations. Works under close direction of senior staff; brings a moderate understanding of materials management functions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years in warehousing, manufacturing, or materials handling. Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Experience with inventory systems; Epicor familiarity is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks as needed. Travel None.
