Full-Time, Onsite Pay Rate $ 70.00 - $85.00 per hour I am looking for a Cost Controls - Project Specialist to support a large-scale infrastructure retrofit project within an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing facility. in this role, you will provide critical project controls and coordination support, helping the team maintain project schedules, manage project costs, track expenses, and administer purchase orders throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting capital projects, construction projects, facility expansions, or industrial engineering projects who enjoys bringing organization, structure, and visibility to complex project environments. Key Responsibilities Support project cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management activities Monitor project expenditures and maintain accurate financial records Create, update, and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking reports Manage purchase order creation, tracking, reconciliation, and closeout activities Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, finance, and project stakeholders Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and KPI tracking tools Track commitments, invoices, accruals, and overall project financial performance Assist with project documentation, meeting coordination, action item tracking, and reporting Support implementation and adoption of Ecosystem, a web-based project management and planning platform Identify schedule, cost, or resource issues and escalate as needed to project leadership Maintain organized project records and ensure data accuracy across multiple tracking systems
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, Finance, or related field
MUST HAVE
Pharmaceutical, API, biotech, chemical, or regulated manufacturing experience 10+ years of experience supporting capital projects, construction projects, engineering projects, or industrial manufacturing projects
MUST HAVE
experience with project cost control, project coordination, project controls, or project scheduling activities Microsoft Excel including tracking, reporting, and data analysis Management of purchase orders, invoices, budgets, or project financial data Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar systems Must have experience working within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, industrial, construction, or engineering environments Brownfield retrofit, facility expansion, or infrastructure project experience Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
