Job Description

Logistics/Warehouse Security Officer Logistics Security Officer Location:
Bolingbrook, IL Pay Rate:
$16 per hour
Schedule:
Shift 1: Saturday/Sunday 6pm-6am and M-TH 7pm-5am Shift 2: Saturday/Sunday 6am-6pm
Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable and experienced Vehicle Patrol Security Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with monitoring the facility through regular vehicle or foot patrols and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular vehicle patrols of designated areas to deter and detect criminal activity and ensure the safety of the premises. Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, providing assistance as needed. Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or hazards. Write detailed and accurate reports on incidents and daily activities. Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary. Maintain a high level of visibility to deter potential threats and provide a sense of security. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in a security role, preferably with vehicle patrol responsibilities. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations. Basic skills for report writing and communication. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Current active PERC card and 20-hour
Certificate Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to operate a vehicle safely for prolonged periods. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and incidents. Qualifications 20-
Hour Certificate:
Completion of a 20-hour security training course
PERC Card:
Ability to obtain a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
High School Diploma:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Drug Screening and Background Check:
Must pass a drug screening and background check
Language Proficiency:
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Work Authorization:
Authorized to work in the U.
S Physical Fitness:
Physically capable of standing or walking for up to 8 hours per shift Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) Ability to respond to physical demands during emergencies
