Job Description

Logistics Order Specialist Location:
DeKalb, IL Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay:
$23-$26/hr | Temp-to-Hire | Weekly Pay About the Company A well‑established manufacturing and distribution company in DeKalb that specializes in producing high‑quality plastic components for industrial and commercial clients. They operate a clean, organized facility with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Provide order status updates and shipping updates to customers via phone and email Confirm inventory availability and lot readiness before processing orders Enter, review, and maintain customer purchase orders in the ERP system Prepare and review BOLs, packing lists, labels, and other shipping documents Maintain the shipping calendar and update ETAs for all open orders Track inbound and outbound shipments to prevent delays Use QuickBooks daily for order processing, invoicing, and customer account updates Communicate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to resolve issues quickly Create production orders, manage material transfers, and support inventory accuracy Participate in daily/weekly team meetings to review open orders Provide administrative and backup support to the purchasing team Requirements Bilingual English/Spanish Preffered 1-3 years of office administrative experience Customer service experience (phone + email) QuickBooks experience is required and highly important Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with purchase orders, order tracking, and shipping paperwork (BOLs, packing lists) Strong communication and follow‑up skills High attention to detail and accuracy Aility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Why You'll Love It Here Temp‑to‑Hire opportunity with long‑term career potential Weekly Pay Stable Monday-Friday schedule Supportive team environment Growth opportunities within the company Why PeopleShare You'll receive: Clear communication and real support from start to finish Access to long‑term, temp‑to‑hire opportunities with reputable companies Weekly pay, benefits, and a team that advocates for your success A recruiter who listens and helps you find the right fit At PeopleShare, your success is our priority, and we're here to help you build a stable, rewarding career.
