The Supply Chain Receiving Specialist is responsible for the daily receipt and delivery of inbound supplies and parcels within the hospital and its affiliated sites. The Supply Chain Receiving Specialist collaborates with stakeholders from clinical operations, supply chain procurement, and finance to assure that receipts are completed accurately and timely while also assuring that deliveries to clinical stakeholders are completed quickly. The Healthcare industry is the single largest employer in the United States. Within healthcare, the supply chain function is often as critical as the care itself. These days, Innovation and ever-evolving clinical practices require a supply chain that is dynamic and customer focused. The Receiving Specialist is a crucial member of the supply chain operations team at Endeavor Health.What you will do:
Receiving:
Open each box, review packing slip, and compare the contents of the package with the packing slip, and complete the receipt utilizing a handheld scanner. Included in the receipt process is linking the tracking ID to the PO number, attaching packing slip images to the receipt event, and affixing a goods delivery label to the parcel.Goods Delivery:
Deliver packages and parcels to requestor deliver-to locations, capturing legible signatures and/or delivery images to complete the chain of custody for the delivered package.Receiving Control:
Collaborate with the Receiving Coordinator to investigate any missed deliveries, damaged products, and/or receipt discrepancies.Dock Logging:
Scan, log, and detail packages as they are removed from the carrier's truck, verify the accuracy of packages against a delivery manifest, record arrival time, and resolve any discrepancies in real time.Staging:
Place the deliveries and packages in predetermined areas after they have been received and labeled to assure accurate and efficient goods delivery.Onboarding & Training:
Assist with the onboarding of new Supply Chain Receiving Specialist team members.Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures related to the safe handling of regulated parcels based on standards established byOSHA, EPA, FDA

Prior experience in warehousing and/or inventory management in any industry is preferred but not required. Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not requiredUnique or Preferred Skills:
