Job Description

LANTER DISTRIBUTING
, a leading temperature-controlled warehousing and transportation organization, is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator/ Customer Service Representative at our Granite City, IL location. This position will manage the customer throughout the entire warehouse and freight delivery life cycle, from the shipment notification through the final delivery. The CSR will handle all inquiries and correspondence regarding the customer's scheduled appointments and shipments. They will interact with the customer and carriers in an effective and positive manner. They will also be responsible for ensuring the customer load requirements are met, using computer systems to monitor, track, and respond to customer loads.

$19-$21/hr
JOB DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
Assist with all data entry. Strong computer skills including, but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs Learn the entire facilities paperwork flow. Assist warehouse staff to ensure that all vital in information is communicated in a timely manner. Ability to interact with customers and carriers in an effective and positive manner. Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background check Previous working experience in the trucking/warehouse industry required. Excellent phone and communication skills a must Must be detail oriented and good with following up on where the project was left, to ensure unfinished tasks are completed timely Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed, specifically when the business needs dictate
