Your premium skills in supply chain management, inventory management, and process improvement will be key in optimizing our distribution center operations. With relevant skills in e-commerce, packaging, and materials handling, you will contribute to the seamless flow of goods through our warehouse. Your role will involve data analysis, inventory control, and transportation planning to support our logistics objectives. Join our team and be a vital contributor to our logistics success.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS 1.
Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments. 2. Compares and verifies identifying information and counts, weights or measures to packing list and receiving copy of purchase order. 3. Inspects parts to an assigned level and sampling chart. 4. May examine and test parts to verify conformance to specifications. 5. Enter receiving information into computer system. 6. Attach identification data to part/package. 7. Filling shortages in kits. 8. Stock parts in inventory. 9. Responsibility for detailing non-conforming material by filling out NCMR form. 10. Kitting of material for jobs. 11. Cycle counting, physical inventory. 12. Miscellaneous jobs required by this department or other departments. 13. Follows company policies, instructions and procedures. 14. Any other tasks which may be required by the Logistics Analyst &/or Director of Administration.
ACCOUNTABILITY
§ Responsible for correctly receiving in all packages (inventory and non-inventory items) § Responsible for kitting the correct parts and correct counts for jobs.
EDUCATION LEVEL, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
§ High school education § Basic math skills § Must be able to read and write English at 10th grade level § Must pass literacy - maximum 16 incorrect § Data entry skills
SKILLS AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION
Exerting 20-25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
PAST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM TASKS
