Are you ready to shape the future with us? Job Description Position Overview The Supply Chain Intern will support daily operations within the manufacturing plant's supply chain function. This role involves hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, production planning, and inventory management while contributing to projects that improve efficiency and data accuracy. Key Responsibilities Assist with tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and analyzing material variances. Support the Supply Chain team through supplier communication, order tracking, and maintaining purchase documentation. Assist in coordinating the movement of materials between departments to ensure timely production flow. Compile and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, discrepancies, or improvement opportunities. Participate in cross-functional meetings with production, logistics, and quality. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards to support operational decision‑making. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving accuracy, or enhancing workflow efficiency. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Must be currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field at an accredited college or university. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analytics tools. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Must be able to work onsite in Auburn, IN. No relocation is available. Learning Opportunities Exposure to end‑to‑end supply chain processes within a manufacturing setting. Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing operations. Development of professional skills through collaboration with experienced supply chain and operations teams.
