Vendor Manager

The purpose of this role is to act as the primary manager and subject matter expert for assigned vendor relationships, ensuring that each vendor delivers maximum value to the business. This includes responsibilities such as contract oversight, performance tracking, risk mitigation, and compliance, while also taking a proactive and strategic approach to optimizing vendor usage across the organization. The role is responsible for developing strong, trust based relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to executives, to understand how they operate and make decisions. By embedding into these workflows and aligning vendor capabilities and performance with business priorities, this role enables better decision making, optimizes vendor utilization, and ensures that vendor partnerships evolve in step with organizational needs.
