We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven team member with mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of the automotive / truck equipment industry. A successful candidate has a passion for working in a truck upfit environment, enjoys solving problems, values collaboration across all aspects of the business, and passionately serves customers. A typical day in this role may include the following: Develop estimates and quotes for customers of upfit truck equipment products and services as requested by the sales team. Entering confirmed customer orders into the ERP system Building custom bills of material and shop floor routings for each order confirmed. Scheduling the jobs in the shop for production. Collaborating with sales on customer orders, collaborating with purchasing on material allocations and request orders, collaborating with the shop for quality shop orders, collaborating with the accounting for proper execution of orders from entry through billing Coordinate logistics and expediting materials and services based on shop schedule Proficiently using MRP/ERP and maintaining data integrity in the system This opportunity might be a good fit for you if: You have experience building BOMs and routings in an ERP system You have a 2- or 4-year degree in industrial or mechanical engineering; or equivalent experience You have a strong mechanical aptitude and can relate drawings and BOMs to physical builds You enjoy working with dynamic teams You pay close attention to details, have good organization skills, and can manage your time effectively You enjoy working in an automotive / truck upfit environment You like to solve problems You portray excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skillsSimilar jobs in Columbia City, IN
