Elkhart, IN Responsibilities & Activities:

Preparation and management of supplier discussions and purchasing negotiations about price, quality, deadline and quantity for production material Organizing the selection, qualification and monitoring of suppliers in Germany and abroad, considering quality and environmental aspects Supplier management, development and evaluation Support and supervision of technical communication between construction and suppliers Preparation and regular adjustment of forecasts based on the current order situation Negotiation of framework agreements over the term of several years to secure the total quantities required for individual projects Keeping statistics/evaluations on the procurement process Regularly reviewing payment and delivery terms and obtaining improvements in this sector Generating savings Supporting the processing of intercompany orders (USA); calculation of UK prices Obtaining quotations and preparing bid comparisons Creation of order related purchase orders using ERP supported purchase order proposals Processing order confirmations and sending reminders for missing order confirmations and overdue deliveries Deadline tracking for critical orders to supply production and meet delivery deadlines Complaints processing in close coordination with quality assurance Master data maintenance (both article and supplier master)
