Job Description

Indianapolis Education and Support Srvcs Center 421 N Emerson Ave Greenwood, Indiana 46143 The Materials Specialist plans, controls, and maintains proper inventory levels within the Franciscan Materials Management Information System (MMIS) supply location.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Schedule:
20 hours a week, 2-3 days a week between 8am-4:30pm (no weekends) Count and restock the Fresh Start Market Food Pantry and Diaper Pantry to maintain established PAR levels Unload delivery trucks, check for damaged boxes, sign for parcels, deliver stock supplies to pantry locations and non-stock supplies to off-site facilities and community partner organizations, prepare parcels to be shipped out by courier Fill and deliver departmental daily requisitions Receive weekly stock orders, restock shelves, rotate supplies, and monitor expiration dates Match packing slips with supplies received to ensure that correct quantities were received Answer all incoming calls and assist end users as needed Maintain clean supply areas Perform weekly cycle counts of Community Health Improvement items Prepare parcels to be shipped out by courier to expedite hospital supplies in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED required Supply Chain and Logistics certificate preferred 3 years of Healthcare inventory management experience preferred
