Position Summary The Vehicle Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing inbound and outbound vehicle logistics operations to ensure accurate tracking, timely processing, and efficient workflow across multiple customer accounts. This is a hands-on role involving the movement of medium
- and heavy-duty trucks, coordination of transportation partners, and completion of complex, high-volume documentation supporting production and delivery operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound vehicle logistics operations across multiple customer programs
- Operate and move vehicles, mostly medium
- and heavy-duty trucks, safely within the yard and for short delivery/maintenance tasks, as needed.
- Process inbound vehicles including inspections, photo documentation, and recordkeeping
- Assist with undecking and support drivers during unloading
- Inspect and document transportation damage and coordinate claims resolution
- Maintain records in Epicor including VIN tracking, chassis updates, and scheduling
- Prepare Bills of Lading and manage outbound documentation using Adobe Sign
- Stage and position vehicles for standard and after-hours pickups
- Maintain accurate inventory records for inbound and outbound vehicles
- Organize vehicles and keys by customer and build number
- Collaborate with production, scheduling, and accounting teams
- Coordinate with transportation vendors to ensure alignment on shipments
- Manage complex paperwork ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support purchasing by managing materials and ordering OEM parts
- Ensure legal requirements are met; verify that all documentation is correctly, accurately and timely completed Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in logistics, yard operations, or manufacturing
- Experience operating or moving medium/heavy duty trucks preferred
- Strong attention to detail with documentation accuracy
- ERP system experience (Epicor preferred)
- Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fleet, logistics, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with transportation vendors
- CDL Class A license preferred Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, unassisted and 75 pounds assisted
- Ability to enter, exit, and operate medium
- and heavy-duty trucks
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to work in outdoor yard and shop environments
- Ability to work safely around moving vehicles and equipment Work Environment Work is performed in office, yard, and shop environments with regular interaction with drivers, vendors, and production teams. Measures of Success

- Efficient yard flow and logistics coordination Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical product phone support for our customers
- Maintain accurate records of service cases and troubleshooting steps taken by entering them into the computer
- Work with the Warranty Administrator when warranty parts are needed to ensure timely repairs are held to a schedule
- Willing to be cross-trained for repairing and reconditioning Vanair products in-house Job Qualifications and Skills
- Self-starter, organized and punctual
- Must be computer literate
- Must possess a general mechanical aptitude, physical strength, and hand dexterity for working with hand tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Good electrical aptitude (12V and 120V) for machinery and mechanical devices
- Must be able to work in a high-stress environment, operate as a team, and interface with other departments
- Must be able to work in a safe manner with no supervision
- This requires mechanical aptitude, physical strength, the continuous use of hands including grasping, pushing, and pulling, as well as maneuvering inside, around, and underneath vehicles regularly. Great Work Environment
