Job Description

OVERVIEW
Purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure Certor Sports operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery to ensure continuity of supply. Support broader sourcing and supplier management strategies through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop overall knowledge, expertise, and understanding of specific product categories. Participate in the overall category forecast with the sales team and director of fulfillment to develop a collectively attainable forecast to execute against. Support S&OP process, reconciling Demand with Supply plans to create and execute consensus planning throughout the business. Create Purchase Orders for materials, components, finished goods and services. Develop and maintain supplier relationships through regular communication and feedback, including calls, quarterly business reviews and scorecards. Manage category inventory levels and inventory turns through weekly and monthly supply planning responsibilities. Participate in new product development process (NPI) within specific categories to ensure effective on time launch. Purchase materials, components, finished goods, and services to support product categories and company requirements. Perform ERP based responsibilities, including forecast maintenance and planner workbench execution. Lead negotiations with assigned suppliers / commodities with respect to pricing, delivery and payment terms. Develop and implement procurement strategies, including cost savings initiatives that support the Company's overall objectives and goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders on timely containment and resolution of quality and delivery issues. Adhere to any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff, and visitors
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Commercial and financial awareness with understanding of how this role impacts production, manufacturing, and customer order fulfilment. Able to work well under pressure and handle evolving situations supporting an active production environment. Familiarity with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, NetSuite preferred. Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel using Pivot Tables. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field. Minimum 3 years of purchasing, demand planning or supply planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with international suppliers with variety of complex manufacturing and product requirements. Experience working in NetSuite ERP, supporting MRP planning and purchasing processes.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers. Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
