Event Logistics Technician - Product Handling MichaelAngelos Events South Bend, IN Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Event breakdown Box truck High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Warehouse sorting Event setup Truck loading and unloading Carrying Full Job Description As a MichaelAngelos Events Logistics team member you will be part of a leading Event Rental company responsible for furnishing events throughout Indiana and beyond. You will be part of a crew that loads and unloads event rental furniture. You will also set up and tear down the furniture at events. Schedule will include weekdays, nights and weekends as needed. The schedule is posted each Tuesday for the following week. This position is labor intensive. Set up and tear down of large scale events for Corporations and Universities Efficient and careful handling of all products Maintain a positive and safe work environment while following proper processes set forth by management Efficiently load/ unload all items listed on the Event Agreement Preferred ability to carefully operate 26' box trucks (This does not require a CDL) Ability to take direction Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges Qualifications/Requirements Labor intensive position which requires good stamina for 8+ hour days, in all types of weather conditions HS Diploma or GED Valid Drivers License Must be able to lift 60+ pounds Critical thinking skills, and the ability to take direction
