Aegis Worldwide Production Planner 1st SHIFT/$50-$65k/
FULL TIME Lafayette, IN Overview:
Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer. Responsibilities Create and manage purchase orders using inventory and MRP system data to maintain material availability and support uninterrupted production operations Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery of inbound materials and production components Monitor inventory levels, conduct material research and analysis, and prevent shortages or overstock situations Collaborate with production, operations, and cross-functional teams to support scheduling, material flow, and supply chain issue resolution Track and communicate key performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement, safety, environmental, and 5S initiatives Requirements Associate's degree in a related field preferred with at least 3 years of supply chain, purchasing, or materials planning experience; automotive manufacturing experience preferred Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing processes, logistics coordination, and basic MRP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems with the ability to analyze data and generate reports Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work across departments and supplier networks Ability to analyze root cause issues, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
