Job Title Supply Chain Specialist I-III Job Category Supply Chain Management Job Description What starts with YOU, moves the world! Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Supply Chain Specialist I-III based at our Berea Kentucky location.
What You Will Do:
This position is responsible for delivery of key metrics within one of the following functions, Order Management and Demand Scheduling
  • Lead a value stream team that is accountable for populating and control of production slots, series foundational data and sales order management. Delivery of analysis for Order Management and Demand Scheduling teams to improve delivery of KPIs/metrics for function. Logistics
  • Leader within team that is accountable for the planning and management of the outside logistic provider and internal driven transportation at a minimum cost. Material Planning
  • Leader within team that is accountable for the on-time delivery of direct material into the production facilities while maintaining the right amount of inventory for that part/supplier.
Represent Supply Chain within key plant meetings. Additional keys
Responsibilities:
Order Management and Demand Scheduling:
Lead a value stream team accountable for populating and controlling production slots, foundational data, and sales order management. Deliver analysis to improve KPIs/metrics for the Order Management and Demand Scheduling teams. Manage daily order slotting activities and resolve issues related to configurations and order status. Communicate with dealers, National Accounts, and customers to resolve sales order issues. Maintain and update build and clear schedules availability by day. Assist in establishing option usage percentages based on Sales and Operations Planning, marketing, and brand input.
Logistics:
Lead a team responsible for planning and managing outside logistics providers and internal transportation at a minimum cost. Manage carrier relationships through third-party logistics (3PL). Address customer concerns for on-time delivery of finished goods and direct material shipments. Coordinate shipments with distribution centers to ensure smooth operations.
Material Planning:
Lead the team to ensure on-time delivery of direct materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Manage direct supplier packages and address delivery discrepancies. Communicate with production management on any late deliveries. Achieve working capital goals through strategic supplier management.
Process Improvement and Project Support:
Participate in or lead tasks and projects to support overall Supply Chain objectives. Contribute to internal and external process improvement initiatives. Support major divisional supply projects and assignments.
Problem Solving:
Deliver analysis to identify potential issues within the supply chain and communicate findings. Research best practices to develop efficient problem-solving methods.
Leadership:
Develop and deliver team KPIs/metrics. Hold team accountable for delivering KPIs/metrics. Provide direct supervision and leadership to the team.

Supply Chain Specialist I:
Associates degree required, BA/BS degree in Business with concentration in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Logistics preferred. With a degree Zero to two years in appropriate discipline.
Without degree:
Three or more years in Supply Chain related functions.
Supply Chain Specialist II:
Associates or BA/BS degree in Business with concentration in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Logistics preferred.
Without degree:
Five plus years in Supply Chain related functions.
With a degree:
One to two years in appropriate discipline.
Supply Chain Specialist III:
Associates or BA/BS degree in Business with a concentration in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Logistics required.
Without a degree:
Seven or more years of experience in Supply Chain-related functions.
With a degree:
Three to five years of experience in Supply Chain-related functions.
Skills, Experience & Abilities:
Proven leadership experience in New Product Development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver detailed reports and solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in managing supplier relationships and logistics planning to achieve cost efficiency and delivery targets. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
