LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST-TITLE
32, GS-0346-11, you will serve as an advisor to the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist on all Comb Service Support (CSS) Automed Logistics Informion Systems and Programs. Exercise knowledge and oversight for all mters pertaining to the fielding and operion of Automed Logistics Informion Systems and Programs. Identify funding requirements to support SASMO operions, justify and submits budget requirements for Ste opering budget, and execute funds received. Serve as a Systems Administror for all Automed Logistics Informion Systems and Programs and as the technical expert within the ste/territory responsible for providing technical and functional guidance for serviced Automed Logistics Informion Systems and Programs. Evalue, determine, and initie corrective action to recover or restore da and return the dabase(s) to operional stus. Resolve issues and problems concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of Automed Logistics Informion Systems and Programs administrive and systemic work operions. Develop and establish programs for administering the receipt, review, validion, distribution, and implemention of all CSS software received in the Ste, ensuring proper installion, testing and evaluion. Analyze requirements, establish programs/procedures ensuring effective coordinion on CSS automion hardware systems and peripherals pertaining to the receipt, distribution, installion, and life cycle management of devices th are directed to be managed unit/ste level. Conduct training as required. Coordine with the Deputy Chief of Staff Informion Management (DCSIM) on identifying, developing, establishing, and maintaining CSS systems interfaces with and/or CSS utilizion of the Reserve Component Automion System (RCAS) as approprie. Advise the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist of issues and concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
You must maintain membership in the Kentucky Nional Guard. You must be assigned to a compible military position. Wear of the military uniform. Position may require a pre-employment physical. Must obtain a favorable adjudicion of a T3 or equivalent investigion. Acceptance of a Federal position may termine a military bonus. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Experience involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have least 36 months experience identifying activities involving logistical support operions. Experience integring the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automed da processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience providing Informion Technology support to include diagnosing technical problems, setup of computers, development/implemention of programs, and coordinion with users and other work centers. Experience using STAMIS. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperion to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulions, laws, or practices.
