Position Summary :

The Purpose of this position is to provide administrative functions and system support to help drive demand in the ERP system, support the needs of Engineering, Production, and Purchasing.

Essential Duties:

All Engineering projects go through a BOM/Print review; New P/N R D (New projects & Revisions) Creating and maintain templates to input data from drawings into ERP system. Templates will include materials, labor routed hours, and operations. Review project drawings to make calculations for bill of material items not listed on drawing parts list. Review drawings for errors, BOM related and non-related. Creates new parts numbers in ERP. Manufactured and purchased. Create JOs for material procurement and manufacturing scheduling/planning. Identify & maintain current demands for long lead time materials, update templates & JO's. Regular and on-time Attendance Work in your shift as scheduled. Must work well with others.

Position Requirements :

Strong Microsoft Windows and Office applications background. Understands manufacturing processes, routings, etc. Strong computer skills, typing and 10 key by touch. ERP and/or Epicor experience. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment. Work required overtime as needed. Must be detail oriented. Must have the ability to see details within close range.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands and arms, such as sitting, typing, using office equipment and reaching. Some additional physical activities may require walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with the ability to move throughout the office or outside manufacturing plant as needed. Position requires manual dexterity. Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources.
