- Position Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Marine Logistics and Dredging Coordinator to oversee and help manage our dredging and coastal restoration operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent logistical coordination skills, a solid understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly Coast Guard regulations.

- This position will be based out of our District Home Office in Covington, LA.
- Responsibilities
- + This position will provide administrative and logistics support for our operations teams.
Logistics Management:
Manage logistics for equipment, personnel, and materials required for dredging and restoration projects, ensuring efficient deployment and utilization. + Asset tracking & cost tracking +Dispatch Operations:
Plan and coordinate vessel movements and scheduling for dredging operations, optimizing resources and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. +Client Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding logistics inquiries, updates, and issue resolution. +Supply Chain Management:
Oversee inventory control and supply chain logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. +Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout all logistical operations. +Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with dredging and restoration projects, developing and implementing mitigation strategies as needed. +Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily progress reports, equipment logs, and safety documentation. May assist in preparation of comprehensive project reports for stakeholders. + Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, etc. + Perform other administrative duties as required or assigned by operations management.- Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree in STEM focused program or a related field preferred.
