Coordinator Accounting and Scheduling JetBlue Airways Corporation - 3.9 Boston, MA Job Details $24 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee stock purchase plan Disability insurance Health insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications English Customer inquiry handling Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary The Accounting and Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the data entry of weekly payroll records, including but not limited to attendance, overtime, Paid Time Off (PTO) and approved leaves of absence to Airport Operations crewmembers. The Coordinator also processes all Cash Management functions as required in the station. Essential Responsibilities Accurate entry of payroll data in accordance with Airport Blue Book Supplement (ABBS) policies Monitor and maintain crewmember attendance tracking, dependability, daily work schedules, PTO and draft dependability eGuidance, when necessary Track and inform Airport Operations crewleaders of daily attendance of crewmembers Run reports of day/shift trades and Paid Time Off (PTO) for scheduling purposes Coordinate and post overtime shifts, relief schedules and shift bid schedule and complete additional reporting as requested by Airports Operations crewleaders Act as a point of contact for Airport Operations crewmembers for issues dealing with weekly paychecks Process all Cash Management functions listed within the Cash Management Policy (Cash Funds, Drafts, Deposits, Petty Cash, Safe reconciliation, Voids, and Reconcile Vouchers) (Station Specific) Verify and code invoices for processing Reconcile daily ticket sales and prepare required bank deposits for all cash generated (Station Specific) Maintain Visa's records and reconciliation when needed (Station Specific) Monitor and maintain monthly parking/transit voucher distribution Review expense reports and receipts submitted by Airport Operations crewmembers Collect all re-protect and non-revenue tickets issued by other airlines for use on JetBlue Airways Support the SIDA Badge functions when onboarding crewmembers at the station Respond to email inquiries in a timely fashion Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma One (1) year of administrative experience Complete fluency in written and spoken English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge Must work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends Must be at least 18 years old Available for overnight travel (10%) Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship For internal candidates, good standing in attendance, performance and safety Preferred Experience and Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Outlook and SharePoint Services Ability to multi-task Ability to function successfully in a team environment Organizational skills Crewmember Expectations Regular attendance and punctuality Ability to perform under pressure and fixed time constraints Required to do shift work and irregular hours due to irregular operations Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice Able to maintain a professional appearance When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standards Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)) The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position. Compensation:
The starting pay for this position is $24.00 per hour. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
