Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Specialist and become a vital driver of our supply chain excellence! In this energetic role, you will oversee the seamless coordination of transportation, warehouse distribution, and inventory management processes. Your expertise will ensure efficient procurement, shipping, receiving, and category management, helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties Manage end-to-end transportation planning, including freight forwarding, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships to ensure timely delivery. Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including materials handling, inventory control, and warehouse management system (WMS) operations to maximize efficiency. Conduct data collection and analysis using tools like Tableau and SQL to identify process improvement opportunities and root cause analysis for supply chain issues. Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to optimize pricing and category management strategies. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms such as AS400 or SAP, and demand planning tools to streamline shipping & receiving processes. Lead process improvement initiatives focused on enhancing logistics workflows, reducing costs, and increasing overall supply chain performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards by operating mechanical equipment like forklifts and adhering to warehouse safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management with strong knowledge of warehouse experience and inventory management principles. Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis skills including SQL, Tableau, and supply chain analytics tools. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), and demand planning software like MRP or production planning tools. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and manage contracts while maintaining vendor relationships. Strong analysis skills with the capacity for root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation such as forklifts is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials management tasks. Join us in shaping the future of logistics!
