palmer, massachusetts Posted 4/7/2026 Closes 8/31/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $21.00 - $22.25 per hour Temp to Perm 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_174359 Spherion is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Associate to support warehouse and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in material handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory control who thrives in a detail-driven setting. As a Logistics Associate, you will be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions, gaining exposure to all aspects of logistics and distribution.
Responsibilities:
Perform shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory control activities with accuracy and efficiency Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely Prepare and verify shipments using shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.) Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and packing specifications Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality and accuracy Organize and maintain warehouse space for optimal workflow and safety Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet operational goals ... Follow all safety procedures and company policies in a manufacturing environment Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Skills:
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (IQMS is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Familiarity with inventory tracking tools and warehouse management systems Knowledge of shipping and labeling systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.) Experience interpreting BOMs, work orders, and technical documentation Good problem solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
