Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination across transportation, data tracking and inventory control. Your expertise will drive process improvements, optimize supply chain analytics, and support efficient order fulfillment to meet business objectives. Responsibilities Coordinate transportation management activities, including freight planning, dispatching, and carrier negotiations to ensure timely delivery of goods. Track shipping containers internationally and maintain accurate records of shipment and receiving activities Coordinate transfers of material between company divisions by monitoring inventory count systems and communicating with department managers Conduct inventory counts and inventory system audits to ensure accurate and up to date information is accessible to stakeholders. Requirements Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management with familiarity in warehouse experience and transportation planning. Mechanical knowledge or mechanical aptitude is a plus for understanding materials handling equipment like forklifts. Valid certification in forklift operation is preferred; familiarity with contracts and vendor management is advantageous.
