You will leverage your expertise in blueprint interpretation and manufacturing workflows to ensure our quoting process remains competitive and accurate within the aerospace sector. Responsibilities Analyze incoming Requests for Quote (RFQs) to determine project feasibility and resource requirements. Translate intricate engineering blueprints and technical specifications into comprehensive cost structures for labor and materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and purchasing to validate machining strategies and outside service costs. Develop and maintain robust manufacturing routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to streamline production planning. Prepare professional, data-driven quote packages that clearly communicate value and technical capability to our clients. Maintain meticulous records of estimating data and historical project documentation to improve future accuracy. Ensure all activities align with safety protocols and 6S workplace organization standards. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in aerospace cost estimation or related technical quoting roles. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and specifications. Strong understanding of manufacturing routings, BOM management, and production scheduling. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP-related software systems. Preferred Skills Prior background in process engineering or shop floor manufacturing operations. Technical knowledge of hard metal machining processes and material properties. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
