This role plays a key part in balancing production demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity while working closely with cross-functional teams across operations, purchasing, and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment using ERP/MRP systems and possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Essential Responsibilities Manage production planning activities within ERP/MRP systems to support manufacturing schedules Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules Coordinate production priorities based on customer demand, material availability, labor, and equipment capacity Monitor and support on-time delivery performance (OTIF) Expedite materials, components, and purchased parts to support production requirements Identify and help resolve production bottlenecks, backorders, and supply constraints Perform inventory and production planning analysis to improve material utilization and delivery performance Troubleshoot planning and system-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives Develop planning reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Lookup functions Collaborate with operations, purchasing, supply chain, and other departments to support production goals Support and assist with training and coaching of supply chain team members as needed Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, scheduling, or manufacturing planning environment Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of production scheduling, material planning, and inventory control Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing operations in industrial, electronics, aerospace, or high-mix manufacturing environments Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing environment Regular exposure to manufacturing noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and occasionally move inventory or materials within the facility Electroswitch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
