Job Description

100+ year old family business is seeking an upbeat, detail-oriented person to join our small office in Wilmington, MA. Since we are a relatively small company, we are seeking an employee that will be dependable and able to manage a variety of support tasks.
Primary responsibilities are as follows:
  • Customer interaction & support. Primarily phones, with some email. Tasks include but are not limited to: Processing orders, Tracking shipments, Providing documentation, pricing, and other information.
  • Follow up with customers concerning orders, questions, or problems and ensure that they are satisfied with our service.
  • Working together with others in the company and keeping them aware of the information that they need in order to provide our customers with the best possible service.
  • Processing paperwork such as printing & mailing invoices, Preparing shipping paperwork for good shipping via, UPS, common carrier, or our own trucks.
  • Support field salesmen by providing them with information necessary to effectively promote or products.
Interested candidate should have solid computer skills using Microsoft Office. Knowledge od accounting software is also encouraged. We are looking for a team player that can fit into our organization and help out in a variety of ways when needed. We also prefer someone who is comfortable on the phone and has an excellent demeanor on the phone. Customer base is generally friendly and we don't have people calling us with hostile attitudes, which is nice. But it is even more important that our customers be treated with respect and that their orders are expedited correctly and set up to meet their delivery needs. This is a full time position with a regular M-F 40-hour workweek. No weekends. All of our employees have full benefits available including Medical, Dental, Profit Sharing, Paid Holidays & Vacation Time. We have very low employee turnover and we are hoping to find a

candidate that is not planning to move on or relocate in just a couple of years.
