Job Description
Our core competencies include systems engineering, program management, logistics, production support, aircraft maintenance, and aviation/aerospace services. We were founded in 2015 and since our establishment, we have been attracting the best talent in our fields of interest enabling us to provide cutting-edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs. We know defense and we know aircraft systems. The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing shipping and receiving activities in a manufacturing setting to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods. This role supports production operations by managing inbound and outbound logistics, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate and process all inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers and preparing shipping documentation.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Prepare and package finished goods for shipment in accordance with customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records within ERP.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to prioritize shipments and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and transportation regulations, including hazardous materials requirements if applicable.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving area.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, or delivery issues.
Schedule:
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.Note:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or logistics-related training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, shipping software, and carrier portals.
- Knowledge of domestic and/or international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills.
