The Distribution Technician II is responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing inbound medical supplies and equipment to support patient care operations. This role ensures accurate inventory control, safe material handling, and real-time coordination with internal departments and external third-party shippers such as UPS. Key responsibilities include checking product expiration dates; verifying product ID, bin locations, and descriptions; and properly staging returns. The Distribution Technician II identifies and reports discrepancies such as duplicate items, mislabeled supplies, or incorrect bin placement. This position safely uses pallet jacks and lift equipment, follows established back-order and quarantine processes, and ensures cardboard, waste, and damaged items are disposed of per procedure. The role supports quality and safety through proper oxygen cylinder tracking; documentation of serial and expiration data; receiving reconciliation; rotation of stock; and daily communication with Dispatch, the Service Shop, Pharmacy, and leadership. Technicians handle serialized assets, match documentation, escalate missing or unreadable serial numbers, and maintain traceability for warranty, recall, and audit requirements.Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:
Six (6) months experience in warehousing preferred, medical supplies experience preferred. Knowledge of all home care aspects of Respiratory Therapy, Oxygen Systems, Durable Medical Equipment, Infusion Equipment and Supplies preferred. This position requires strong attention to detail, situational awareness, problem solving, and a commitment to safe operations while maintaining accurate purchase order, inventory, and tracking record.Important Notices:

Minimum 15.00/hour - Maximum 24.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
