LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

This vacancy is for a GS-0346-12, Logistics Management Specialist located int he Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Force Logistics Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Qualifications:

To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics management programs and operations. Effectively integrating and coordinating logistics management functions and activities in support of the operations and programs of the organization. Analyzing and making decisions to resolve difficult issues and problems in logistics management activities, policies, processes, and coordination and integration efforts. Developing and implementing policies and procedures pertaining to logistics management activities and programs. Communicating effectively at all management/working levels with internal and external stakeholders both orally and in writing.
