Job Description

TITLE Production Planner
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and production planning principles specific to the DoD. The interface between engineering and production: Creating work orders in our MRP tool. Evaluating design for manufacturability before production begins. Working with inventory & purchasing to ensure parts are ordered. Track outstanding part orders as they pertain to open work orders. Answering questions from technicians and QA on the shop floor. Supporting customer meetings, as required. Creating packing lists for final deliveries or on-site installations. Working with the Production Manager to ensure all deliverable requirements are met on-time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the DoD. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials management, and production workflows. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with defense industry standards and regulations such as ISO9001 and AS9100 is highly desirable. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
SALARY RANGE
65K-85K and will be commensurate with experience
