Logistics Coordinator

Delivery Driver Energy Select is a leading renewable energy company based in Leonardtown, Maryland, serving both Southern and Western Maryland. For over 25 years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solar and energy saving solutions to residential and commercial customers. We are looking for an experienced driver and logistics coordinator to join our team in Leonardtown Maryland and help drive the company's continued growth.

Position Overview:

As the logistics coordinator for Energy Select, you will play a key role across all departments by ensuring that all materials are delivered to job sites on time for installations to begin. This position requires safely operating company vehicles, including a box truck and flat bed, while delivering materials throughout Maryland. You will also be responsible for receiving incoming materials and operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steers.

Responsibilities:

Deliver heavy equipment, including rails and solar panels, to job sites throughout Southern Maryland using a box truck and flatbed. This will include delivering to residential and commercial properties Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials for accuracy and quality. Stage jobs for delivery by pulling materials according to job lists ensuring the crew will have everything to complete the job Maintain inventory by labeling, tracking locations, and reporting shortages. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steer to load and unload materials. Maintain branch appearance, including warehouse, outdoor areas, and restrooms. Keep the warehouse organized by organizing incoming deliveries. Organize material at multiple locations from larger materials such as solar panels and rails at our barn, to wire nuts and tools at the office Perform trash pick-ups after jobs are completed, gathering all extra material, trash, and Energy Select equipment Contacting customers to inform them of their delivery

Requirements and Skill Sets:

1 year experience driving a commercial vehicle Ability to operate a forklift. Certification or willing to receive certification. Ability to physically work on ladders and lift material up to 50 pounds Must be dependable and reliable Ability to pass DOT physical and become DOT driver (CDL not required) Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug tests

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
