Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst Sr. Job ID# 1696 StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time, Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior, to join our team in supporting the NAVAIR program office in Pax River, MD. Successful candidates shall meet the minimum experience and education requirements and have demonstrated the necessary skills and experience to assist with the Functional Description listed below.

Functional Description:

Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and

series directives. Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA). Assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develop, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards. Integrates business and technical methodologies to provide support of hardware and software in-service acquisition and life-cycle management.

Experience Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description as well as experience related to weapon systems acquisition, including logistics, research and development; and working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, financial management, test and evaluation or integrated logistics support. Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with DoD and

acquisition series, Federal and DoD acquisition regulations, PPBE process, and

NAVAIR AMS

Suite of Tools to include: CDRLs, PMT, and CSPT. Experience with developing program acquisition documentation (AP, ASR, PID, SOW, J&A, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas: system acquisition, acquisition documentation, and risk analysis.

Desired Experience:

Experience providing critical acquisition management support functions of major DoD acquisition systems with multiple type/model/series aircrafts and/or systems. Working knowledge of visualization toolsets i.e. tableau and QLIK.

Education Requirements:

MA/MS degree in relevant field required.

Allowable Substitutions:

Bachelors degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree. OR Associate degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree. OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree.

Security Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship required. Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $98,000.00 -130,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
